Boundary Setting is Critical to Success with Leah Kwapis, Founder of Leah Tackles Social
With a background in advertising and public relations, years as a copywriter in the online space, six years as a video content creator, and a ready-to-work outgoing personality, Leah Kwapis founded Leah Tackles Social. Together with her team, Leah helps companies and small businesses not only improve their social media presence but maximize the results from it. Leah Tackles Social was founded in a quaint town in
Northern Michigan (not exactly where you’d expect to find an online social
media strategist, but that's part of the magic) where she still resides and can
be found, coffee in-hand and laptop open, helping clients establish their
social media presence. Leah and her husband worked as side-hustling entrepreneurs cramming their passion projects in after the kids went to bed or on the weekend. Eventually both of them transitioned from side-hustlers to full-time, work-at-home entrepreneurs. Working for yourself is a gigantic blessing, but it isn’t without challenges. Leah and her husband both found ourselves feeling like we were always working, resentful, guilty, and burnt out at the end of the day. Then, Leah discovered the power of boundary setting. The more she talked to fellow entrepreneurs at all stages of their businesses and passion projects, the more she realized that boundary setting was a common thing that every single entrepreneur struggles with and needs. Leah created an online course, ‘Boundary Setting For Entrepreneurs’, to help improve your quality of life, ditch the guilt, make more money, and thrive as an entrepreneur.
On this week’s episode of the Mother Honestly Podcast, Leah Kwapis joins Kristen Hall, COO of Mother Honestly, to discuss the importance of boundary setting and how to balance dual careers as entrepreneurs. Leah joined the Mother Honestly team as the Social Engagement Director and opens up about social media management that can work for anyone.
