Brooke Shapiro, Founder of Pandemic Working Parent, Shares Her Success Building An Employee Resource Group at Clorox
Brooke Shapiro is a mother of a 2 year old boy Jace and a 8 week old girl Rayna. She spent the first half of her career working at advertising agencies in NYC before heading to California to work on Taco Bell account. The past few years she has been working on brand engagement and sales marketing at Clorox. Last year, she saw a need to support mother's returning from maternity and decided to develop an entire employee resource group to support parents at Clorox. Her passion in the space lead to developing virtual programs to support parents based off of similar kids ages, parenting education classes, executive storytime and collaborating with HR on benefits improvement programs within the organization. Outside of Clorox, she started a website called Pandemic Working Parent to develop resources to help parents thrive in the workplace.
Brooke joins Kristen Hall, COO of Mother Honestly, to share her journey with finding and building employee resource groups, returning to work during a pandemic, and resources available to parents struggling during the time of COVID. Continue to follow Brooke and Pandemic Working Parent .
